COVID-19 Vaccination Handbook & Guidelines Launched On 16th February 2021

Our Prime Minister, Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Yassin launched the COVID-19 vaccination handbook with guidelines on the nation's vaccine procurement strategy, and the implementation and observation of the vaccination Programme on 16th February 2021.
Our Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, YB Tuan Haji Khairy Jamaluddin confirmed that our Prime Minister will be the first person in the country to receive the vaccine. He also urged Malaysians to support the national COVID-19 immunisation programme, which will begin the end of February 2021 to help the economy recovery.
The first phase of the immunisation programme will be expected to be completed by April 2021 which involving 500,000 medical and non-medical front-liners.
The second phase will begin from April 2021 to August 2021, which will target 9.4 million people from high-risk groups, including those aged 60 and above with medical problems such as heart ailments, high blood pressure or diabetes, and the disabled.
The third phase will be expected to be carried out from May 2021 which will involve the rest of the population.
