[NEWS] MCO 3.0 Nationwide Lockdown

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced on 10th May 2021 that the whole country will be placed under the Movement Control Order (MCO) from 12th May 2021 to 7th June 2021.
This decision comes after the announcement of MCOs in certain states and districts across Malaysia this past week.
The nation wide lockdown was brought about due to the daily cases exceeding 4,000 cases.
All inter district and interstate travel is not allowed unless for work purposes, emergencies or vaccination appointments. This ban will take effect from 10th May 2021 and will last until 6th June 2021.
Mass gatherings and events are not permitted.
While economic sectors will remain functional, employers are required to enforce a work-from-home plan with only 30% of management staff in the office at a time.
