[INFO] Carlsberg Malaysia pledges RM1.6 million for Safer Schools initiative

Our member Carlsberg Malaysia is continuing their Safer Schools aid from 2020 as part of their ongoing pandemic response and aid for the communities they operate in. They have pledged RM1.6 million to provide a safer learning environment as students and teachers resume physical classes from October 2021.

This time round, they aim to provide further peace of mind to teachers, parents and school-going children through donations of facial recognition thermometers and full disinfection services to primary schools in Malaysia.  To spread the importance of pandemic safety, Safer Schools 2021 will also be launching a music video featuring local artistes and social media influencers such as Elica Paujin, Han Xiao Aii, and Rabbit Mac. This video aims to teach students personal hygiene and protection measures against COVID-19 in an interactive way, please click here for the lyric video:  https://youtu.be/B4EPtdhqF44

MICCI applauds their efforts in providing support for schools as they transition back to physical learning soon.
