Alternative Schemes For Collection Of Container Deposit In Malaysia
The Port Klang Authority (PKA) updated the alternative schemes, that Shipping Lines/Shipping Agents/ NVOCCs shall recognize all three (3) alternative schemes of Non Cheque Deposit (NCD), Container Ledger Account (CLA), and iCargo+ insurance. Hence, this would exempt Forwarding Agents and Consignees who have subscribed to any one or more of these schemes from having to pay container deposit.
