On 2nd June 2023, MICCI had a Townhall session with the Minister of Home Affairs, YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Bin Ismail on the issues about Foreign Workers and Expatriate applications with Industry Associations. Top ranked immigration officers were also in attendance.
YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Bin Ismail was standing patiently listening and answered to all issues brought up by industry leaders. He also shared that he visited Nepal, Bangladesh and Indonesia over a whirlwind 5 days to look, see and learn with his own eyes.
He acknowledges that the Foreign Worker Management whole system has to be reviewed and Malaysia Immigration Policies too.
