MICCI Courtesy Visit To The Royal Malaysia Customs Department (RMCD)

On the 4th of September 2023, MICCI paid a courtesy visit to Dato’ Sazali Bin Mohamad, Deputy Director of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Enforcement/Compliance). The visit was attended by Ms. Renuka Indrarajah, Vice President of MICCI (Representative of CMBB), and Mr. Shaun Edward Cheah, Executive Director of MICCI. Also present was Mr. Sangar Kandasamy, Co-Chairman of the Joint Action Security Council (JASCO). Representatives from the Digital Economy Group (DEG), Philip Morris Malaysia, and the Confederation of Malaysia Brewers Berhad (CMBB) were in attendance.
During the visit, both parties engaged in a productive and fruitful engagement on various issues related to the enforcement and revival of the Multi-Agency Task Force (MATF).
