On 17th November 2023, we had the privilege of welcoming Her Excellency Nineta Bărbulescu, the Ambassador of Romania to Malaysia, to our headquarters. Engaging discussions on mutual interests, trade opportunities, and culture took place, with the presence of Mr. Remus Pasca, Vice President of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RoCam), and Mr. Dan Bărbulescu, representative of the Romanian Business Delegation. On the MICCI side, the delegation was led by Ms. Harpreet Kaur, General Manager of MICCI, and Ms. Dianne Tan, CEO of GOBIZ, closely associated with MICCI.
During the visit, Ambassador Nineta Bărbulescu engaged in constructive discussions with MICCI representatives, exploring areas of mutual interest, trade opportunities, and potential avenues for cultural exchange. The discussions aimed to identify areas of synergy that could further strengthen the existing ties between the two nations.
The courtesy visit marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between Romania and Malaysia. MICCI remains committed to fostering an environment that facilitates international business collaboration and looks forward to future engagements that promote mutual growth and understanding.
