Congratulations to Ms. Francesca Chia on her appointment to the National Employment Council (NEC)

On behalf of our Board of Directors, General Committee, all the members and management, we would like to extend our congratulations to our Digital Economy Group (DEG) member Ms. Francesca Chia, CEO and Founder of GoGet on her appointment to the National Employment Council (NEC). This was announced through Prime Minister Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Mohd. Yassin’s official Facebook page on 7th May 2021.
The National Employment Council was set up to maintain and create jobs in line with the government’s efforts to focus on recovery and revival of the economic sector in Malaysia. 150,597 job seekers have managed to find employment through 12 government administered programmes as of 23rd April 2021.
Ms. Francesca Chia was one of the three new members appointed to the council. Her contribution through her company GoGet has given Malaysians a platform to seek part-time employment, gig employment and freelance work.
