[NEWS] Government switching to cashless payments by 2022

The Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz announced on 8th June 2021 that all government services will be switching to cashless payments by 2022.
This is in line with the MyDIGITAL initiative launched by the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
According to the Minister, cashless payments will lead to enhanced transactional security, better coordination, greater communications in anti-corruption efforts, and effortless sharing of information.
