Tay & Partners has released an article on the COVID-19 vaccination for employees in Malaysia on 8th June 2021.
The current vaccination programme works on a voluntary basis with consent forms having to be filled before receiving the vaccination. There are no laws that allow employers to compel employees to get vaccinated at the time this article was published. However, employers can take measures to keep employees informed about the vaccine and its importance for a safe working environment.
